I blame the muse...

I think I mentioned that the Liam/Jacqui story had spawned a poss series of sequals... Well... I now have eight blurbs for the eight stories.. Each charries has a name and a job and each story is a current WIP that has been sat on my comp in vairous stages of being written...some for years. This gets them finished and done. And yes I'll probably mention them to my editor at some point, but hey if none of them sell, at least they'll be finished. And when I say sequal I mean only that all the m/c's are related. Each will stand alone and may or may not feature any of the others. And the storm surge one is based on this - teh pic was taken in Nov 2009 in Cornwall during a really bad storm. Impressive huh? That story incidently is finished :)

sigh

why is it when you have a really good day, when things go right and everythings okay, that its followed by one of these, when all I do is cry and nothing is right? Not even my fault, but being made to feel like it is. so i going away for a bit. just avoiding email and yahoo groups and life in general. well, can't avoid that - not right now which is a shame.

Second draft done

The second draft of Liam and Jacqui who take time off from playing pooh sticks long enough to foil a coup in Africa is done. Draft three has begun. Still don't have a proper title as you can see. However this does produce a very pretty m/s. It's orig in black. (w/c was about 24k) The second additions go in in red. Mainly so I know where I am each day without having to have umpteen bits of paper with page numbers on all over the desk. (w/c was roughly 42, 900) Draft 3 is blue. Who knows what the word count will be. Esp as in the first 9 pages i've added 130 words. Of course some have been chopped out, but anyway... But... worryingly I now have plots floating around in my head for at least two of Liam's many family members. Which was originally 7. Then became 5. Now has gone back to 7. But the names are Gaelic and so pretty...blame the baby naming website I use... and at least one of them needs a story. Just so happens I have a plan for Nate--he's a secondary characte

welcome Marianne Evans

Marianne Evans loves to tell a good story. In fact, she’s been enthusiastic about writing ever since she could string sentences together. Kensington Publishing purchased her first book, Friends & Lovers, a contemporary romance. Her second release, Right Hand Man, followed shortly thereafter. Her third offering from Kensington, Hannah’s Heart, won critical acclaim from readers, and The Oakland Press. Her fourth book is her inspirational romance debut at White Rose Publishing – the contest winning novella Hearts Crossing. Hearts Crossing led to the creation of the ‘Woodland Series.’ This series of books centers around Woodland Church and characters who are first introduced in Hearts Crossing. Book two is titled Hearts Surrender. Hearts Communion and Hearts Key will follow as books three and four. The series is offered in both print and electronic formats via White Rose Publishing ( http://www.whiterosepublsihing.com/ ) and Amazon ( http://www.amazon.com/ ). A lifelong resident of Mic
